Who is TheResearchCompany?

We're a small group of ex-marketers and martech people turned researchers, mapping how AI is reshaping the marketing world. We run paid research conversations with practitioners to understand what's actually changing in the work: the tools they use, the workflows they trust, and where human judgment still matters.

Why are you paying people?

Because expert perspective is worth paying for. We believe marketers with real experience should be paid for their insights — so participants earn for sharing theirs, and referrers earn for connecting us with the right people.

Who should I refer?

Someone who works on paid ads or growth: media buyers, performance marketers, paid social specialists, growth marketers, ads managers, or people overseeing paid media teams. Don't worry about qualifying them yourself - paste their LinkedIn and we'll check if they're a fit.

When and how do I get paid?

You earn once the person you referred completes the research call. After your first completed referral, we'll email you to get your payout details. You can get paid using PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, Direct Bank Transfer or Gift Card.

Will you message the person I refer?

No. Nothing gets sent without you. We generate a short message with the booking link, you review it, and you decide whether to send it.

Do I need to give you their email or phone number?

No. You only paste their LinkedIn profile URL so we can check whether they look like a fit.
