Who is TheResearchCompany?

TheResearchCompany is an independent research company studying how AI is changing real work. We run paid research conversations with founders and operators to understand the tools they use, the workflows that work, and where AI still falls short.

Why are you paying people?

Because experienced operators’ perspectives are worth paying for. Participants earn $100 for sharing what’s working with AI and what isn’t, and referrers earn $50 for connecting us with the right people.

Who should I refer?

Refer a current founder, co-founder, or CEO of a US-based owned-brand ecommerce company that sells products through its own transactional website. They do not need to use AI tools today—learning what has not been adopted is part of the study.

When and how do I get paid?

You earn once the person you referred completes the research call. After your first completed referral, we'll email you to get your payout details. You can get paid using PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, Direct Bank Transfer or Gift Card.

Will you message the person I refer?

No. Nothing gets sent without you. We generate a short message with the booking link, you review it, and you decide whether to send it.

Do I need to give you their email or phone number?

No. You only paste their LinkedIn profile URL so we can check whether they look like a fit.
